I believe we decided to randomly go to the elevator one night just being board and such since there weren't any afterbars that night. We had anticipated this however by bringing a cheap disposable and 3 headlights. Damn it was cold that night.

Last time we had been to Glenwood the whole area had been locked, bolted, and resealed, so this time we were extremely determined to get into it, especially since we didn't really enjoy the 0 degree wind chill that much either.

We eventually found a garage door around part of the lower levels that had been reopened by some squatter more then likely. Entering we noticed the place had changed a great deal, it was being clean and swept. Of course meaning only one thing. Preparation. We weren't sure at the time what for (Later we found out the Glenwood Elevator is scheduled for Demolition sometime during 2008).

We eventually headed our way up and over to see if we could get to the other side of the elevator, its rumored that the Elevator has one of the best views of downtown minneapolis in the whole area. However we encountered an obstacle not to our liking... a partially open concrete ceiling....

Theres a ladder you can climb up to go to the other parts of Glenwood, but im not too enthusiastic about going up that latter thats about 6" from those openings. So on this note, we ended our trip for the night.
