Well one night I was biking home from work and none of my usual coharts were down for 'splorin. Lamos...

So I decided what the hell, Ill try and see if Lil Jax is explorable since I live fairly close to the former establishment. Since this area of Northeast MPLS is fairly quiet at 4am it wasnt hard to find and entrance.

Now usually I dictate to my coharts not to explore alone, for obvious reasons. I figured that there wasnt going to be much risk on this trip. I called brute before entering of where I was, so if I didnt check it he would know where to find me.

After entering I kind of felt I was breaking into a home since the upper floor was like it was when the owners left the building. It was kind of a different experience, since this was not a cave, or a abandonded facility. It was a restaurant and home.

There was old toys, furniture, cups, dishes left by the former occupent. When I went to the main floor it fairly empty. There were some dishes, folding tables, mixers, and such left. Unfortunetly weathering had set in and the old typical foam ceiling you find in most buildings had all fallen down from water weight.

After that I proceeded to the basement where there were quite some interesting features. There were lots of supplies left over. Inventory Sheets, Plastic Cups, Mug Holders, Mixers, Preserved Onions & Pickles, and decorations. It was quite a sight.

Unfortunetly about half the basement was flooded and I didnt really feel like getting wet at the time so I left and called brute to tell him I was safe. I kind of chilled on the roof for a bit thinking of what a busy area this must have been when the restaurant was open and comparing it with what the area was now. Fairly boring.

Well the sun was rising so I decided to get off the roof before some good pedestrian noticed me and called the cops. In retrospect it was an interesting experiance since how often can you find a restaurant open to explore?
